While we wait for the official release that allows us to play with the phone ourselves, more and more new features show up around the web. Today we have found a video that shows us a great new feature that we haven’t seen before.

A new feature for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the option to create your own vibration notification pattern. Why did nobody else come up with this before? For years we have been able to change our ringtones, but not the way our phones vibrated.

Create your own vibrations

At first this sounded to me like just a gimmick, but imagine the possibilities. You can create different vibrations for different contacts, so by the way your phone vibrates you can tell who is sending you a message / calling you!

For example, you could setup your phone to vibrate once or twice when you receive an email, but when someone important is calling you (parents, boss) you could setup some crazy vibration notification that for sure will get your attention.
