News June 30, 2012 960 views 0 CommentsJust two days after the official announcement of the latest version of the Google Operating System (OS) Android, someone has managed to get Android 4.1 (codename Jelly Bean) working on a Galaxy S3

Although most functions in the build don’t function correct yet, we do get to see how Jelly Bean looks on the Galaxy S3.
The developer of this ROM has stated that he will not continue to develop this ROM, why? In just a week from now Google is releasing the official source code of Android 4.1. Once this source code is released it will be possible to create more stable ROM’s with all the functions working for the Galaxy S3.

So far, Samsung hasn’t mentioned if it will create an update for the Galaxy S3 to Android 4.1, but since its Samsung’s flagship device and recently launched, Samsung would be stupid not to.
