A user on the Taiwanese mobile01 forum has shared some pictures of the GT-i9300. The GT-i9300 is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S3.  We have already seen various other leaks of the GT-i9300, but never before where the pictures this clear.

As you can see from the pictures the phone is covered by a dummy box, preventing the real design of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to be leaked before May 3rd.

Software buttons

One feature of the latest Android version (4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich) is the availability of on screen navigation buttons. Because of this there is no need for hardware buttons.

One thing that can be seen from the pictures is that Samsung has changed these software buttons. They are different from the stock ICS buttons we have seen on for example the Galaxy Nexus. The appear larger and the buttons have been re-arranged.

In addition to the software buttons we also see the famous home button as can also be seen on the previous Galaxy versions.

The next Galaxy phone will be announced on May 3rd on a Samsung Mobile Unpacked event, its is more than likely that Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy S3, which could be this Samsung GT-i9300.
