Sprint updates it Galaxy S3′s

For users that pre-ordered there Samsung Galaxy S3, Sprint has released an software update. Your phone should notify you of the update and download it automatically. This update enables Google Wallet on your mobile phone and also has a “Google security update”.

After some investigation we found out that this update changes the Google search widget on your phone. In the past when doing a search the widget would search through your contacts, apps and google search to come up with results.

After the update the widget will only display Google search results. The reason for this update could be Apple’s lawsuit against Samsung  for the Google search widget.

Sprint has probably updated it’s Galaxy S3′s so they can still sell the Galaxy S3 in case of Samsung losing the lawsuit.
