Samsung has released the user manual for the Samsung Galaxy S3 on its website. The guide offers us a detailed look on some of the new features.
The user manual can be downloaded here.
In this post we will have a look at some new things we have learned from the user manual.
With the release of the Galaxy S3, Samsung really made it clear that this phone is not just about the amazing hardware. Samsung has worked hard to make this phone as user friendly as possible (or “designed for humans, inspired by nature” as the company calls it).
A great example of this are the motion gestures Samsung has introduced. While some where already available with the Galaxy S2, with the S3 the phone has gotten some great additions.
Thanks to the notification LED and this new function you will no longer have to unlock your phone to see if you missed any calls or messages. Simply lift your phone or check the LED to see if you missed anything!
I really like this function, because it saves you valuable time when you want to make a picture really quick. No longer you will have to unlock your phone and open the camera to create a picture. Simply tap the screen and rotate the phone and the phone will be unlocked and the camera app will open!
New camera functions
With the Galaxy S3, Samsung has also introduced some great new camera functions. We already discussed some of these in this post. Thanks to the user manual, we now also have the explanation by Samsung on these (and other) camera features.
The manual is filled with other great new features, so if you can’t wait for the release of the Galaxy S3, I suggest you to have a look at the manual!
