It looks like we where right with our last post. Samsung has send out an invite for an Samsung Unpacked event on May 3rd in London. This goes well with the rumor started by Eldar Murtazin that something big is going to happen around May 2nd.

On the invite you can read the tagline “Come and meet the next Galaxy“. Although it doesn’t say anything about the Samsung Galaxy S3, it is more than likely that Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 3rd.

Samsung has also posted the invite on its official twitter, so no, this is not another fake and the real deal!

Samsung Mobile Unpacked

The announcement event is planned for a Thursday evening on May 3rd in London. The event is called “Samsung Mobile Unpacked”, it is the same name that was used for other phones in the Galaxy series (like the Galaxy S II and Nexus).

The invite itself doesn’t give us any information about the phone, just some “blubs” in white and blue. Could these stand for the ceramic and glass the S3 is going to be made from? The latest rumors indicate that the back of the Galaxy S3 is going to be made out of some sort of ceramic material.

Although the event is just weeks away, still nothing is known about the upcoming phone. Samsung hasn’t even announced that there will be a Samsung Galaxy S3. So, this event sure will be interesting, where are the rumors right or not?

Samsung will broadcast a live-feed from the event and the feed will be available to view from Samsung’s facebook page, of course we will also update you on this website during the event

Just 17 more days and we will no longer have to deal with all the rumors and we will finally know everything about Samsung’s new flagship!
