A user on the Taiwanese mobile01 forum has shared some pictures of the GT-i9300. The GT-i9300 is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S3. We have already seen various other leaks of the GT-i9300, but never before where the pictures this clear.
As you can see from the pictures the phone is covered by a dummy box, preventing the real design of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to be leaked before May 3rd.

The picture was uploaded some weeks ago, but at that time didn’t seem important enough to write about. But, with all the new information we have received after the teaser was posted, its time to have a look at this teaser image. What can we learn from the picture?
We know that Samsung will announce a new mobile phone during the Samsung mobile unpacked event on May 3rd.
Although the whole world is expecting the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung so far has never mentioned the Galaxy S3 and has been talking about “The Next Galaxy“.
It looks like Samsung made a valuable mistake earlier today when adding their Samsung mobile unpacked event app to the google play store. In the description Samsung mentions the Samsung Galaxy S3, this is the first time we see Samsung using this name.
The Korean portal Nate has interviewed a Samsung manager, giving us some new and interesting information on the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The phone will feature 5 capactive buttons on the bottom. Next to the buttons the Samsung Galaxy S2 had, the phone will get two new buttons. One for speach recognition and one for Samsungs own cloud service, called S-Cloud.
But that is not all we got to learn from the interview.
Yesterday we reported about a mysterious tweet by Samsung, pointing us to the website tgeltaayehxnx.com on which a countdown timer could be seen.
Today the countdown timer hit zero and what did we see? Well, not much because everyone tried to visit the website and the same time and crashed the server……
But at the same time Samsung pointed us to the following video using twitter:
This video can also be seen on the just launched site www.thenextgalaxy.com. (If you manage to get on it, the site seems to be down because everyone is trying to visit it at the moment). Not much can be seen on the website though, just the youtube video you can see above, and the option to subscribe for more information regarding the Samsung Unpacked event on May 3rd.
While Samsung has announced that they plan to release a successor of the Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung has never mentioned a name for this device. With the Galaxy S and Galaxy S2, it seems more than logical that the new phone will be called the Samsung Galaxy S3.

However, on the invite for the Samsung Unpacked event on May 3rd, Samsung is talking about the “Next Galaxy“. Could this next galaxy be the Samsung Galaxy S3? We still have no idea.
A few days ago, a member of XDA-developers found something interesting on the Samsung website. Could this be proof that the Samsung Galaxy S3 does exist?
A couple of hours ago, Samsung mobile tweeted the following message: “Destination tgeltaayehxnx”. After some thinking it quickly became clear that tgeltaayehxnx is an anagram for “The Next Galaxy”.
When visiting the url tgeltaayehxnx.com you will see a count down timer on it. What could this mean?

Today, a picture of a device was leaked by Gizmodo Brazil. Could this be the “Next Galaxy” in disguise? We have reasons to be believe that this device is indeed a test model for the Samsung Galaxy S3
With an Samsung Mobile Unpacked event just around the corner (May 3rd), it is amazing how little we actually know about Samsung’s upcoming smartphone.
While we have had various leaks with information (especially on a phone with model number GT-i9300) we still have no idea what will happen on May 3rd. Are any of the rumors even true? What we do know is that on May 3rd Samsung will announce the “next Galaxy”, but what phone could this be?
Of course, we hope that Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy S3. But they could also announce a different phone, like an upgraded version of the Galaxy S2 (Like Apple did with the iPhone, after the iPhone 4 they announced an iPhone 4s and not the iPhone 5).
Or perhaps they will release a complete new phone? Various rumors talk about a Samsung Galaxy M, could this be an entire new phone, or just a code name for the Samsung Galaxy S3?
A lot of the rumors we have heard the last few months have been about the Samsung Galaxy S3′s display. Most of those rumors where made by anonymous sources, all saying something different. This is why we still have no idea what kind of display the Galaxy S3 will use.
But on the 10th of April the OLED Association made some interesting statements. In a news report on their website they claim that the Galaxy S3 will feature an 4.6” Super AMOLED HD Plus display.
The reason this is interesting, is because the OLED Association is reputable source. They work close with Samsung (for example: the vice president of Samsung is part of the OLED-A) and other companies producing OLED’s.
