Every year Samsung holds an event for the South East Asia region, called the Samsung Forum. Bringing together regional dealers and the media, this event allows Samsung for several days of new briefings and product announcements.

Samsung Galaxy S3 release date might be moved from May to April

With the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3, it was just a matter of time untill some new information about the Samsung Galaxy S3 was released.

Kim Young-ha, Chief Executive of Samsung Electronics China Headquarters had a talk with the press about Samsung’s new and more aggressive strategy:

Samsung plans to focus on sales of high-priced mobile phone models this year and raise its market share to 40 percent. In order to increase sales of the Galaxy S3 as well as the Galaxy Note which is already very popular in China, the company is considering rescheduling the rollout of the Galaxy S3 from May to April.

This gives us some new information on the release date. It looks like, as we have said before, that Samsung is still unsure when to release the Samsung Galaxy S3 and that the Korean company is looking at various alternatives.

Or could this just be a decoy and part of Samsung’s strategy to release the Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 22nd?
