Edge to edge screen for Samsung Galaxy S III?
Rumors February 24, 2012 3,627 views 0 CommentsAccording to the South Korean newsite MK News, Samsung is working on a mobile phone without a bevel (this is the space between the sides of the mobile phone and the screen). Using an edge to edge screen it’s possible to increase screensize, without increasing the phone size.

For example, using this technology, a phone with a screensize of 4.7 inch could fit a phone with the size of a Galaxy S2 (which has a 4.3 inch screen). According to MK News the Korean phone manufacturer has been working on this technology for a while now, and could implement this in phones launched from Q2 onward.
MK News further reports that the phone that Samsung is working on using this technology is called the Galaxy B and not the Galaxy S3, ofcourse this could be just a codename. MK News further reports that the phone has no hardware buttons at the bottom, all buttons are on the screen itself.
If the Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature an edge to edge screen is unknown, we have seen various concepts featuring this (see the picture above for example) and it sure looks amazing.
